This project was such a treat! Navis Cafe is owned and operated by a superb family, who had a vision that seemed to really bloom when they came up with the name. Inspired by the architecture's modern maritime aesthetic, we chose elements that gave a nod to the working waterfront, both rough and refined, fresh and crisp - warm wood for the boat like ceiling, a deep sea blue for the walls, lights of concrete, a bar front of metal mesh, and local images of fishermen in timeless black and white.
